Privacy Policy
This notice covers TechRevati's own processing: this website, SaaS accounts and support. In the SaaS service, video recorded at your site is processed under a customer-as-controller / TechRevati-as-processor model — those terms live in the Data Processing Agreement, not here. In the Onsite edition, where the software runs on your own equipment and TechRevati has no access to it, TechRevati is a supplier of software and does not process your personal data. Occasional diagnostic access during a remote-support session that you request and open is processing under the Data Processing Agreement, limited to the purpose and duration of that session, logged, and without copying data off the site except on your instruction.
Controller
Techrevati, računalniško programiranje in svetovanje, d.o.o., Dunajska cesta 136, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. Privacy contact: hello@techrevati.com. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer — GDPR Art. 37 does not require one at our scale; write to the address above.
What we process on this website
- Enquiry form: name, e-mail, company, message, and optionally the number of cameras and site type. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) (steps at your request before a contract). Your IP address is not forwarded with the enquiry.
- Technical logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) — our interest in keeping the form usable.
- Cookies: only what login and CSRF protection need — see the Cookie notice.
Sign-up, accounts and agreement acceptance
- Sign-up: e-mail, company, chosen plan, language, the versions of the Terms and the Data Processing Agreement you accepted, and a shortened IP address (without its last part). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b); the shortened IP address Art. 6(1)(f) — limiting sign-up abuse.
- Accepting an agreement by link: name, function, e-mail, time, IP address, browser identifier (user-agent), and the text you accepted with its fingerprint (SHA-256). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) — evidence of who accepted which text.
- User accounts: e-mail, role, membership of a customer account and login metadata. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b).
Who receives it
Enquiries reach our own mailbox and, where the operator channel is configured, the notification channel your account uses. Form payloads are not written to the product database. Hosting and e-mail run on providers inside the EU/EEA under Art. 28 contracts; the live list of subprocessors is part of the Compliance Pack your account can generate.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
None for this website. Fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page makes no request to a third-party CDN — you can verify that in your browser's network tab.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence: for as long as we need it to answer you and, if we start working together, for the life of that relationship plus the retention periods Slovenian accounting and tax law impose on business records. Technical logs: only as long as they serve abuse prevention. Evidence of an accepted agreement: for as long as the agreement applies, and afterwards for as long as it is needed to establish or defend legal claims. You can ask us to delete earlier at any time.
Camera and event data
Person and object detection is not facial recognition and not biometric identification within the meaning of GDPR Art. 4(14). No emotion inference, no scoring of people, and no automated decision under Art. 22 — every alarm is reviewed by a person. Roles, retention and instructions are set out in the DPA and the C1 compliance pack. The same terms cover the free text your users enter (decision comments, corrective actions, the purpose of a share, the reason for disabling a camera, rule procedures) and notification recipients (e-mail addresses, SMTP user names).
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Art. 15–21), and the right to withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Write to hello@techrevati.com. You may also complain to Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana — our only establishment is in Slovenia, so under Art. 56 that is the competent authority. For camera footage recorded at a customer's site, the customer is the controller: contact them first.
