Forklifts and people on foot: near-misses on video
Your cameras already watch the floor. VAP gives them a job: when a forklift gets in among people, you know about it, with the clip, the spot and the time. The video never leaves your site.
How it works
- It runs on the cameras you already have. You don't buy new ones.
- Mark the walkway, or let VAP measure the gap between people and vehicles anywhere in the frame.
- The event goes to whoever is on duty. One click confirms it or dismisses it.
- Internet down? The box holds the events until the link is back.
What it recognises
People and vehicles. A forklift is recognised as a vehicle. How reliably that works in your building is measured on day 1 of the PoC, on your own cameras, and you see the result. There is no dedicated forklift class yet; one is in the works.
Why buyers pick it
- Safety managers and insurers want proof of near-misses, not one more video system.
- Video stays in your building. Only the event and a short clip go out, to a centre in the EU.
- A PoC in a few weeks, on up to 6 cameras (see the PoC offer).
What VAP never does
It doesn't recognise faces, doesn't rate workers and doesn't control the forklift. Near-misses are counted per site, never per person. Your team gets the evidence, and a person makes the call.
